A fabulous time was had by all who attended the first ever Arts Extravaganza on Saturday, April 17 at Shepard High School. The guests were entertained by more than ten different school performance groups, scrumptious culinary creations were prepared and served by own very own future chefs, over 400 pieces over art were on display and 31 baskets filled with wonderful gifts were raffled off to lucky winners.  It exceeded our expectations and kudos were heard by all. The community was duly impressed with the extremely talented students at Community High School District 218. The stars were definitely shining brightly on Saturday!

A heartfelt thank you to all who attended, to our community supporters who made generous donations and our program book advertisers. Thank you for supporting the Friends of Community High School District 218 Education Foundation!

The Friends of Community High School District 218 Education Foundation was set up to help enrich the education of our students and help further their education.

Through individual, and corporate monetary gifts, The Foundation is able to raise and distribute funds to enhance students' education beyond conventional public funding.  Our work also supports graduates in their lives with post secondary scholarships.

Our goal is to create support opportunities with the active partnerships of our students, teachers, staff, parents, alumni and community members.  We invite you to help enhance the educational opportunities by contributions of time, energy and resources.  By doing so, you will also help build a stronger school and community relationship.

Please consider assisting in any way possible so that we may continue our work to help maintain and enhance the high standards that we expect from our schools and students.  Help open the doors to student excellence!
